RESEARCH: Clinical trial using non-invasive brain stimulation — Deakin University

Dinisha Parmar is a provisional psychologist at Deakin University (Burwood Campus) conducting a clinical trial with Professor Peter Enticott and Dr. Natalia Albein-Urios.

They are conducting a clinical trial will investigate a new non-invasive brain stimulation technique called High-Definition Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation (HD-tDCS) for individuals diagnosed with Asperger’s and Autism Spectrum Disorders who may find it difficult to appropriately adjust behaviours according to a changing environment or may find it challenging to manage emotional self-regulation strategies.
